Trinity is the game plus the micro expansion (entrenchment and diplomacy) together, but basically you just wont to play diplomacy in the game because that needs entrenchment to play properly. Anyway Most expansion packs in the game market are simple; adding a new map, units or weapons and other crap like that. Trinity however seems more like a giant tweak with some added everything! Including an extra two research tech trees, the ability to finally offer missions to other players and even the pirates which have also gained some intelligence. Like going around big defence lasers things to get to the planet. Hell even the graphics got a could tweak as well like shiny advent halycon cruisers. The whole game is improved considerably and tactics have also become more widespread like building star fortresses. These are probably the most customisable things in the game which include around 7 to 9 upgrades to be purchased for it. Like trading bays, civilian pods and hangers for fighters and bombers. And most importantly you can name your star fortresses.
Diplomacy has been improved considerably in the game, meaning when resources are given to another player there happiness towards your empire increases. You also have diplomacy ships which when placed at a neutral planet they become more happy towards you. You can also now offer packs to other empires like resources packs which will give your empire and the empire you made the pack with have an increase in resource mining.
The only thing that really annoys me with this is; that you can’t customise all your vessels just give them special abilities and upgrades to there weapons. If you could add and extra row of weaponry to your capital ships, cruisers and frigates this game would be even more dynamic.
Cheers and keep gaming….
