Sins of a Solar Empire

Well this isn't really a review.....but i really wont to tell you about Sins of a Solar Empire or just sins. Sins is an award winning R.T.S. which is set in a futuristic space enviroment. Anyway when or most likely "if" you get the game you will notice that there is no campaign. This is because doing a skirmish game can feel like doing a campaign. No seriousely thats how big these games can be. There is just so much you can do in the game, the whole game is so well structured with a research tree which is seems as if some thought went into it for once. In the research screen you will have 4 places to go really: military, civilian, artifacts and a fleet managment system which is were you upgrade your pop cap for military vessels. Oh shit I'm sorry I just went on about something very boring about every R.T.S. but I'm not kidding when I say it's awsome.
The game graphics are very good, excellent for how much detail you need for such an alternating game in.........space.

Constantly when I play R.T.S.s I get annoyed at the combat system where there's nothing like a quick hotkey system to make it simpler and faster well In Sins I use the keyboard because it speeds up everything because the game developers decided to think like the average gamer not the freak that lives in a basement and has a pet sock for company.......... if anything i would have a pet ferret. anyway what I'm saying is that the hotkey system is perfect.
So far for Sins is there have been 2 "micro" expansions that have been released for it. these two are entrenchment and diplomacy. and hopefully I will be getting these soon and will do a quick review on them soon. Anyway out of all the games I have played I, myself, me reccomend you get this game. Even if you have a crappy dell computer you can play this game still.

Black and White 2, review

Well once again I’m going to do a review on a RTS. This RTS though is a bit different to most. First of, your actually playing a god. Guided by your conscience which are represented by a little red devil thingy with wings armed with a Brooklyn accent and an old fart in a white robe riding around on a cloud.
You also get a pet creature which will grow and learn from you as the game progresses. And by that I mean you can have an evil cow that destroys your enemies or a peace loving monkey that makes you villagers laugh. Also you get to control a village which will grow very rapidly and turn into a city.

Now let me tell you about the dumb villagers. First off they’re very thick thinking that when you pick them up with your with your godly hand and drop them off somewhere its divine inspiration to them to do something. There are four basic jobs for a villager: builder, farmer, miller and breeder………..no seriously breeder, human breeder to be precise you bestiality freaks out there. Your creature can also help out with jobs around your settlement, except for the last job.

When you first start a new game you get to choose a creature. You get to choose from a monkey, lion, wolf and a cow. I chose the lion. Because I figured I would try something different from the cool looking wolf. But most importantly about the game is that how you play it. You can play the game by being good or evil and all this affects on your villagers, creature and surrounding villages and cities, hence the name black and white. Personally I thought that this was great. It made the game very dynamic. The graphics are well balanced and the game controls a bit confusing at the start but you get the hang of them fairly quickly.

This game is amazing in what you can do. It’s also hilarious at times with random things happening sometimes. Like your creature crapping on a villager. Then the other villagers laughing and clapping. Yup it can be pretty random.

However there is one thing that’s always pissing me off, that would be the evil mouse that has a mind of its own. It can be really annoying at times when you want to pick up something in a field but end up picking up hay. Incredibly annoying.

But aside from that I think the game is worth getting. And from what I know there are numerous expansion for it.

Supreme Commander 2, review

Supreme Commander 2 has finally come out and I now have a good RTS to play when I’m bored. First off I'll tell you why its so good; it has amazing graphics which have been done by square enix, and if you don’t know them, they're the guys who been making the final fantasy games for a very long time. The game system is awesome now, you only spend about 2 or 3 minutes building base, and if you’re familiar with the first two games then you'll notice there’s no tech 1, 2 or 3. There’s just an upgrades tech tree, which is very useful. For example the U.E.F. rock head tanks can be upgraded to have an extra barrel, increase the length of these barrels, shields and a rocket pod to take out air. How sweet is that.

Aside from the upgrades you have five upgrade trees: land, air, navel, structures and your humble A.C.U. or armoured command unit, which is technically you, your the person controlling the whole battle in that thing which is awesome because you to can get some killer upgrades like teleportation, jump jets and overcharge the ability to make your big gun even more dangerous. You also have experimentals which are either major or minor. Each faction has 3 major and 5 minor experimentals. These are pretty much the tools of destruction BUT if you've played the first two games you will notice that the experimentals are weak as piss now. But who cares you’ve got a bigger variety now.... right?

Anyway I better tell you about the campaign, first off the story is 21 years from the expansion pack forged alliance. The seraphin are gone and aren't returning anytime soon. Somehow the coalition between the 3 factions (U.E.F., the Cybran Nation and the Illuminate) has lasted that long but the newly elected president of the coalition has been assassinated, every one denies taking part in the killing so war sparks. But when or if you play the campaign you will learn that if doesn't look that way from the start.
In the campaign you will play each faction as one of there commanders, which turn out to be classmates who ally with each other because they know that an organisation called the guardians is the corrupt master mind behind the war. Anyway that’s all I’m going to tell you because I don't want to spoil it for you. And if you still want to know how it ends go Wikipedia or something.

Halo: legends

IM back,
and instead of doing some weird review of a game, im gonna do a review of a series of moveis...... on a game. And to start it off, this is going to be very bias because im a halo fan boy! Yeah, anyway legends is a collection of 7 stories (one having 2 parts) about the halo universel, and why it powns.
The Legends storys have animae and very good computer graphic storys in it. It tells you why the arbiter became such a shamed postion to the covenant, and how the mk2 spartans were created and shows you the rivalry between the O.D.S.T. and the spartans.
Origins part 1 and 2, Odd one out, The duel, The babysitter, The package, Homecoming, Prototype are all the short movies in it.
I personally recommend you to get this dvd; IF you are a halo fan, you want to know more information on the halo universe and if you want to watch some very good stories of epicness!....................................................................................................................................................

Bad Company 2

O.k im back and slightly annoyed at bad company 2.
well not really, just slightly. Mainly because of its multiplayer only being online! that really piss me off because i dont have xbox live. But otherwise this game is awsome. And finally a good destruction system which will let you blow anything up! which excellent by the way just like the graphics and the sound is the best! all of these qualitys are awsome! because they all blend together to make something awsome. The campaign is very epic and slightly pissed me off ocasionally when you felt like the game devellopers just wanted to piss you off. Well they did for me. Anyway the campaign is very beutiful visually and in the game itself.

The Campaign starts off with the prologue of an elite mission of American commandos raiding an island to capturer a japenese scientist (which is set in WW2). But they never make it out because the Japenese secret weapon thingy blows the crap out of the island. Then you start the rest of the game in Russia.

I would recommend this game to anyone that likes MMOs that are FPS. The campaign is trully epic and awsome. Oh yer make sure you have an xbox live account if your getting it on xbox (which is the best console ever).

Ummm yer

Well hi every1 that is bothering reading this, im Jordan (Suprise!) and im gonna blog about some new and old games 4 xbox 360 and pc. And i'll also add some random crap now and then.

The first game im gonna talk about is Battlefields: Bad Company. After that ill talk about some other older games that haven't been forgotten because there still so awsome. After that ill post some random pictures which will make you laugh and maybe add a webcomic.....thingy!?.

Anyway i'll tell you about me. Im 15 live in alice and am really bored. So I play games to make everything seem better. LOL.
